Now, this is my kind of message!!  I love my iPhone and all the clever takes on the Queen's mantra, so this combo is perfect for me:

   

For this card, I used papers, inks and the "S'UP?" stamp from SU.  All the dies and the "Keep Calm" stamp are from My Favorite Things.

Dahlia Birthday / WAW193

Today is my mother's birthday, so it's a special day indeed.  My mother is an amazing woman, so I tried to make a card worthy of her!  I hope I succeeded.

The striped paper is from Recollections at Michael's, the dies are from My  Favorite Things, and everything else is from SU.

Big Balloon Birthday!

My Favorite Things has released the most fun set of blueprint dies!  It's all about birthdays and balloons.  I made the following EASY card with it them:

For this card, I used Bazzill card stock and Echo Park I Love Sunshine DSP.

This is what I put together for a challenge which was to use the following card sketch for anything other than a card:

It's pretty easy to convert any card sketch into a scrapbook page, so I couldn't pass the opportunity to put that picture of my son into a new layout!!

Truth. / MOJO406

Greetings!  This week's sketch at MOJO Monday is really cute, so I thought I'd try my hand at it.  The center piece is perfect for one of the words in Stampin' Up!'s Words of Truth set (LOVE that set!).  Here's how my card came out:

Sending You a Squeeze / WAW191

Hope you are happy today!  I am, as I got to play again with the Mason Jar Labels and coordinating dies from My Favorite Things.  So. Darn. Cute!!!  It's a bit time consuming to put the lemons together, but the results are so worth it.

I'm also linking this to Word Art Wednesday's challenge #191, which is anything goes/family friendly.  Love how that leaves the possibilities wide open.

Fabulous Fireworks!

Happy 4th of July!

Hi, friends!  Next to Christmas, the 4th of July is my favorite holiday.  I have wonderful memories from my childhood of watching the parade march through our town, and then going to the high school that night to watch the fireworks.  I love the BBQs and all-American activities.  I've seen 4th of July fireworks in Montclair, New Jersey, Ocean City, New Jersey, Stuttgart, Germany, New York City, New York, Washington, DC, Purcelville, Virginia, Hershey, Pennsylvania and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania!  No matter where you see them, they're always beautiful and awe-inspiring.

To celebrate the day today, I made a bunch of Stampin' Up! french fry boxes and filled them with Tootsie Rolls.  And I saw a cute cake from Betty Crocker that I tried to make.  Here's the results:

I found the little flag and spikes at Hobby Lobby.  The Tootsie Roll Midgees are from Oriental Trading.  The rest of the products are from Stampin' Up!
