More of My New Endeavor

Greetings,

In my last post back in February, I mentioned I was starting a new line of stamps.  I quickly became involved in setting up the new website and all the work involved in doing that, plus designing new stamps, creating a Design Team, etc.  I'm happy to say it has all come together in the form of The Project Bin!  Here are images of the stamp sets available for purchase:

Here are a few samples made with some of the stamps:

The Project Bin's stamps are made in America and are high quality photopolymer.  They will stamp a crisp, clean image every time, even with tiny images and fonts!

Writing this blog has been wonderful, but it's time to move on to something else.  So I'm signing off on this blog today.  Thank you for following my creative journey, and feel free to check out The Project Bin's blog...we post news and/or a sample almost every day.  I hope you'll join me there!

See you there,
Denise

At the End of the Day

Greetings,

Here is another sneak peek at one of the stamps in my inaugural set!  My husband says this all the time, so I knew I had to make a stamp out of it!  I've used this week's MOJO Monday sketch as the blueprint:

Supplies:
Stamp:  by me! (A Way with Words)
Card stock and inks:  Stampin' Up!
Dies:  My Favorite Things

I can hardly wait for the first sets to arrive...I'll let you know as soon as I have them available!

Also linking this post to Word Art Wednesday for their bi-weekly "anything goes" challenge.

Live Life

I am so excited to share with you a card made with one of my very own stamps!  Yes, that's right! I'm designing and producing my own line of photopolymer (clear) stamps, which will be called "A Way with Words"!  I have so many ideas and have several sets (4" x 6" stamp sets of various sized stamps)  in the works.  My first set, which includes the message stamp in the card below, will be available to purchase in a couple of weeks!  I will be having contests on my blog for free stamps, so be sure to check back for more details when I get everything ironed out!

In this card, I used a stamp from my first set, which is called "Awesome Sauce", and I based it off of this week's MOJO Monday sketch:

Supplies:
Stamp:  A Way with Words, by The Project Bin (me!)
Card stock and ink:  Stampin' Up!
Designer Paper:  Graphic 45

Thanks for clicking by!  Stay tuned for more info on my new line of stamps!

Best,
Denise

Since we had 2' of snow this past week, I thought this particular birthday card would be appropriate:

Hanger die:  Stamps of Life by Stephanie Barnard
Other dies and message stamp:  My Favorite Things
Swoosh stamp, card stock, ink, sequins and snowflake:  Stampin' Up!
DSP:  Echo Park, Hello Winter collection

Life is Like a Camera

My oldest child has been working and living in Japan (near Tokyo) for the past two years.  She will be coming home in two weeks for good!  It's been a great adventure for her.  And for me, too, as I did visit her (see this post) and learned a lot about Japan and its people.  Through it all, I sent her many cards so she could have bits of home with her even though she was 12,000 miles away.  I couldn't be happier that she's coming home, but I'm kinda sad that I won't be buying international postage stamps or making cards for her anymore!  This is the last one I'm sending to her:

I based my card on this week's sketch from MOJO Monday, and am also linking it to Word Art Wednesday.  This is the MOJO sketch:
Supplies:
Card stock, DSP, ink, sequin, watercolor stamp:  Stampin' Up!
Dies and message stamp:  My Favorite Things

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you find some time to create today!

Denise

When Snowzilla began, I posted this photo on Facebook:
I was letting my friends know that with my new toys, Diet Coke and some chocolate, I was all ready for the storm!  So, here's what I made:
It's hard to tell, but it's actually a pocket that I put candy inside.  I made a bunch of them (26 to be exact!) for my colleagues at work.

Supplies:
Heart Pocket Die by Sizzix
DSP:  Bella Blvd Valentina collection
Banner and Bow Dies:  My Favorite Things
Cardstock and ink:  Stampin' Up!

Thanks for clicking by...hope if you're snowed in, you're having some creative fun!

Looking at the Same Moon

My local stamp store, Angela's Happy Stamper, had a make-n-take recently featuring these stamps.  I instantly fell in love with them, so ran out there to purchase them!  I put this card together, thinking I would send one of each to my daughters.  But then I liked it so much I decided to make it available for sale on my "love" cards page!  (I'll still send one to each of my girls!)
I'm sure you have someone dear to your heart who lives far away, who would love to hear from you with this card, and via snail mail, no less!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you find some time to create today.

Best,
Denise
