Lotus Birthday

So Stampin' Up! has a new set in their sale-a-bration brochure called "Lotus Blossom".  This is an absolutely gorgeous two-step stamping set (that you can get for free if you spend just $50).  I believe Stampin' Up! was the first to come up with the idea of two-step stamping, and it set them apart for a long time from other rubber stamp companies, and was a major factor in their early success.

I think the only thing missing from this set is a "Happy Birthday" stamp, but I have plenty of those, so in this card I used one from the retired Postage Collection set.  I also used a stamp from Dotty Angles (love all those little circles -- so cute!).  I used Rose Red as the main color, which I haven't used in a long time.  I think it's a beautiful color -- I should use it more often!

If you're interested in purchasing any of these products, please check contact Jeannette Swain -- she is an awesome Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would love to help you!

Have a fun weekend, and hope you find some time to create!
Denise
