Happy Valentine's Day! I've been waiting for today to post this card, as it's the one I made for my husband. He is a sailor so I thought this would be perfect. The inside says "Let's Make Some Waves". The papers and inks are from
Stampin' Up!, but the stamp set ("Sailor Girl") and background heart die are from
My Favorite Things.
This is the first time I made a card on my own using alcohol-based markers to get that shaded look. It's a little hard to see, but there actually is some shading in the blue and hair! I'll have to keep practicing as I'm clearly not that good at it!
